Great documentary, of a great group. So many aspects of life are handled here; Success, sorrow, love, family, meeting “Kenny”, feeling apart of something and so on. Maybe the best music of all times. Don’t miss out on this one.
“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.”
― Lauren DeStefano, Wither
An oldie from the 90:s with influences from Bruce Hornsby (don’t miss the piano solo section). The sound quality isn’t the best (guess it’s translated from an LP).
Yesterday I came across a list of 22 rules of storytelling from Pixar. Straight ahead I started to think about other areas where I could use it, and it actually is a great set of advice for many areas. I could use it in my personal life, for projects, creating business plans and so on. As always, all that we read is interpreted with our own mind / thoughts.
I think we’re just a few days away from the best autumn days, in terms of Photography. Some of the leaves has started to get those amazing colors, but soon the forest will be full of red, green, blue, yellow and so on.
This is a photo I took last year, just a few weeks after this point.
In the last episode of Breaking Bad there was music playing in the background for quite some time. Could you figure it out?
For those of you who know Journey, you may also know Steve Perry, the vocalist. The song that were playing was from his solo album “Street Talk (1084) “Oh Sherrie”. Since Journey had a quite huge hit with “Don’t stop believn'”, this could might as well be a new hit due to such great exposure in Breaking Bad.

“For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.”
Ever since I started this blog I’ve been portraying autumn. In my opinion the best season of all if you’re into Photography. In Sweden it’s one of the warmest start of September, ever.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman
Today is my birthday and I’m trying to start a new tradition. Getting up early and the take a long walk together with my camera. This is the first photo from that walk.
This is a story (as Heroin Diaries by Sixx A.M) that’s 16 minutes and 36 seconds long. It’s a story of a kid, that grew up, and all through life just had one wish, to be loved by his closest.
I guess this story isn’t that strange, and uncommon. Still it is a thoughtful story by W.A.S.P. For all music fans; even if you know the history of Blackie Lawless, he and Nikki Sixx used to play in the same band, “London”. As one of my friends said; this may be the inspiration for Nikki Sixx to share his inner thoughts in Heroin Diaries?
Don’t miss out on this piece of music history. Thank you J for the tip!
This is a series of photo from 1938 of how women were supposed to act when they went on a date. It seems like the world has moved in the right direction since then 🙂
What a beautiful car this is, and what a great future all car fanatics still can dream for. This is the new Porsche Spider Hybrid which you can travel around 20 km purely on electricity but whenever you need more power the petrol engine kicks in. All together the system power is around 900 horsepower! Not bad!
This video really made me think about the modern way of spending time with each other. The topic is far from new, but I think this short movie really put its finger on today’s society, and I’m the first to agree that I’m absolutely one of those who should think more about this.
So, why are we always “on our way”, instead of grasping the moment we’re in?
Yesterday I were in Norrtälje, together with some friends. On our way there, we walked along this road, and this view, with the trees that’s preparing themselves for Winter, the road and the small typical Swedish houses was amazing. Really looking forward to best time of the year when it comes to photography, the autumn.
On top of the photo I’ve added some filters, and then added the “painting like” effect.
