Me and a colleague have just released a new app – “Music Battle”
The concept is a classic music intro-quiz game, where you’ll hear the intro of a song, and you’ll try to guess the right artist or song name. As a helping hand, you will see the album cover more clearly for every second.
Compared to others it’s totally free, and there is no in-app purchases. We’re still in our early phases so new tracks and playlists will be added along the way

This photo was taken a few weeks ago outside Bonnier Art Hall in Stockholm. A truly beautiful building.
Some photos can really reflect historic moments, and at the same time make me appreciate where we are today. Humanity, and the world in itself is certainly improving. Great set of photos!

Earlier today I received a link on my facebook-page from a friend who suggested that I should visit Elena Shumilova:s amazing Flickr-page.
Elena is taking photos of her kids in different environments, and I don’t think that I’ve never seen anyone being so good at reflecting different moods.

This is a totally crazy trail up in the mountains of Mt. Hua Shan, situated in China. I can’t even imagine trying these regardless of the amazing scenery with small cities, found on the top.

This is a classic place in Piteå, Ekbergs Konditori. This small café has been around during all of my years in Piteå. A place that looks just the same as it used to be. If you ever go to Piteå, don’t miss Ekbergs and their famous sandwich “Landgång”.

My favorite “track discovery” from last year is Frank Oceans “Strawberry Swing”, a version of Coldplay’s track with the same name. I totally love Coldplay, but I think that Frank Ocean’s version is absolutely amazing! What an awesome track!
Another track from the same album, is a “semi-cover” of Eagles song Hotel California, named “American Wedding”. A great track with those great lyrics that Frank Ocean always delivers.

This is Piteås Town Square. When I grew up in Piteå there was a toy story on the left side of the Christmas Tree. I guess the feeling of joy will always be felt when I go back to this square.
I’ve never been a hardcore fan of Lord of The Rings or The Hobbit, entertainment wise. But, as many others I think they are stunning to watch and it’s amazing how much work it must be to put it together. The scenery alone makes it worth watching.
During this Christmas Holiday I watched “The Hobbit – An Unexpected Journey” from last year, and in that movie Gandalf sums up what I try to have as my guide line in 2014 (and onward off course)

As I previously blogged about, I really like dark photos. They are hard to accomplish, and they need a lot of thinking to come out good. Even so, I’m trying to explore this type of photos, and during my photo capturing hours in Piteå this was one experiment where I tried to keep the darkness in the photo.

I’m actually a little bit ashamed. Sometimes good things are too close to recognize.
During my late upbringing in Piteå there was a band called Merrymakers; a band that made it to the international scene. But sometimes it’s strange, people that you went to school with; can they really be top class material? Yes, they can.
In my case, I totally missed out on their awesome music, which is actually even more strange since I totally loved Jellyfish and ABBA, and I think there are so many influences from both of them here.
So, if you want to have a taste, and don’t want to make the same mistake as I did, check them out.
